    What's included in the kit

The kit includes our PatchMaker 3.0, made of stainless steel and beech hardwood, a metal spring, 3 spools of cotton thread, a latch hook, a sharp needle and printed instructions with 15 pattern designs and access to 10 video tutorials.

    Patch size

You can create patches up to 2 × 2 inches (5.2 × 5.2 cm) when using all 16 top hooks. Using fewer hooks allows you to make smaller patches as needed.

It works on a wide variety of fabrics. For beginners, we recommend starting with slightly thicker, softer materials such as knitwear, as they are easier to work with and provide better control.

Repairing Clothes Has Never Been Easier

PatchMaker turns visible mending into a simple, step-by-step process that anyone can learn, no sewing experience required.

    FAQ

The PatchMaker holds your fabric in place while you weave thread back and forth to create a strong, knitted patch. Simply stretch the fabric over the disc and start weaving with the help of the 16 hooks at the top. By going over and under each vertical thread, you create an interlocking structure that holds the patch securely in place.

Yes, patches are machine washable and made to last. Once secured, the patch is strong enough for regular wear and normal washing. No special care is required.

It depends on the size and pattern selected. On average, one patch takes approximately 15–30 minutes to complete.

Most threads and yarns will work well. For best results, we recommend using slightly thicker thread or yarn, as it fills the area more evenly and creates a stronger, cleaner finish.

There is a small learning curve at first, but with the help of the detailed instructions and the included video tutorials, most users find it easy to learn and get comfortable quickly.

    Patch inside view

The patch is created on the surface of the fabric and is secured along the edges. On the inside, you'll see a small rectangular outline where the patch is attached.

On the last page of the instruction booklet, you'll find a QR code. Scan it with your phone or type the link into your browser to access the video tutorials.
